Q3 Gathering Recap - A Spirit-Filled Evening at Barnabas Group IE: Worship, Tribute, and Kingdom Impact

Summary

The Barnabas Group IE meeting at Benedict Castle featured an uplifting performance by the Teen Challenge Choir and a tribute to the late Scott Keuthen. Key highlights included Michael Klein’s update on Mission Increase's Kingdom impact and Bob Tyler’s keynote on the fight for religious liberty.

The Rest of the Story

In true Biblical fashion, the last will be first. The Teen Challenge Choir provided a rousing end to a spirit-filled meeting at the Castle. For those who do not attend Barnabas meetings regularly, the IE Chapter often meets at Benedict Castle in Riverside - the home of Teen Challenge Southern California. The Teen Challenge Choir frequently closes out Barnabas Group IE meetings. This quarter, the men invited Barnabas Group Partners to join in singing. It was a raise-the-roof moment and a great end to a great evening of worship, inspiration, and stories of Kingdom purpose.

Managing Partner Jeff Abbott opened the evening with a tribute to Barnabas Partner Scott Keuthen. Scott died suddenly in late July. Scott owned Amtec, a staffing company in Chino Hills.

Following Jeff's opening, Michael Klein from Mission Increase shared the impact of Mission Increase Inland Valleys. Over the past six years, the Chapter has touched over 200 ministries in the region, providing training and consulting to grow Kingdom impact. Mission Increase is growing its presence by offering additional services through a new consulting arm, Mission Accelerate.

The keynote was provided by Bob Tyler, President and General Counsel of Advocates for Faith and Freedom. Bob highlighted the ongoing battles for religious liberty. He shared many cases spanning public, governmental, and personal challenges to those freedoms that his attorneys litigate to support our freedoms.

Our featured ministry speakers were Eric Blum, President of Oak Valley College and Mark Goeser, Founder of Hope Ventures. Here are a few ways you can help. If anythings stands out to you, feel free to contact us and we will put you in touch with the ministry.
